Obama

Some people who see the fraud in what Obama is saying are amazed that others do not. But Obama knows what con men have long known, that their job is not to convince skeptics but to enable the gullible to continue to believe what they want to believe. He does that very well. - Thomas Sowell

Wikipedia

I love Wikipedia. I could spend days reading it. While I grow quickly tired of places like You-Tube and Facebook, but I don't tire of Wikipedia. There's just so much on there. And I know that it might not be correct since anyone can edit it, but a study comparing it to a regular encyclopedia showed that it was slightly more accurate than the established encyclopedia. I remember as a kid my mom spending several hundred dollars to get me a good set of encyclopedias. What we all have for free is much better. I remember when I first heard of the bridge collapsing in Minneapolis I went to the Wikipedia entry for that bridge and someone had already modified the entry with the news. And I could also see every bridge on the Mississippi in order from north to south. I really don't know who takes the time to put in all of this stuff, but thanks for many pictures of mississippi bridges.

KWIK E MART

I was in Dallas, TX this past weekend and I got to see one of the 7-11s that has been converted to a Kwik-E-Mart just like the Simpsons. There's only 12 of them in the U.S. We were just driving by when we saw it and we had to stop. The place was packed with people. I even had "Apu" get me a squishee.

Iphone mania!

Well I got an Iphone this week. I didn't wait in some crazy line, I just got it on Ebay for about $30 more than retail. I had to give back my cell phone to work (they are no longer supporting our phones, )  so I needed one quick. Don't listen to the nay-sayers...this phone is awesome! So far I really like it. I am a little concerned about battery life (hopefully it won't need to be replaced anytime soon) and the keyboard takes some getting used to. But it's a really cool phone.

Here's a pic of Josh with from my iphone:
